(4) Update the Canon printer driver

You must follow some steps to update the printer driver for printing color issues. It's essential to keep the printer drivers updated to prevent such issues.

  • Move to the Windows search option and type Run to launch the dialog box.
  • Enter in "devmgmt.msc" and press enter.

  • After that, uncheck the Windows Defender Firewall on public and private networks. And then tap OK to keep the changes.

(6) Check print spooler status

  • Launch the control panel from the "Run" box.
  • Then, type "services.msc" and enter.

  • Scroll down to reach printer spooler option and right-click on it. Then, select the "Properties" section.

  • Now, move to the "General" tab. Under the "Services status" then find "Stop" option and press "OK."

  • Alter the "Startup type" of the print spooler to "Automatic" and then press "OK."
  • Now click on the "Start" button and press "OK."
  • Lastly, restart the printer and check the printing status.
